Dr. Jose Pizarro, MD
Dr. Jose Pizarro, MD is a distinguished professional in the field of Diagnostic Radiology, holding dual Board Certifications in both Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology.
He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, graduating in 1996. He then completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center and a fellowship in Neuroradiology at University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital, developing specialized expertise in imaging of the brain, spine, and nervous system.
With a career spanning more than 20 years, Dr. Pizarro has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence in advanced diagnostic imaging and patient care.

Dr. Andrew Akerman, MD
At The MRI Group, Dr. Akerman serves as Medical Director, helping uphold the organization’s commitment to excellence in diagnostic imaging, innovation, and patient-centered care.
Dr. Andrew Akerman is a fellowship-trained Neuroradiologist who earned his undergraduate degree from New York University, graduating magna cum laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa, with a double major in Biology and Political Science.
He completed his medical training at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City,
graduating with honors.
In addition to his work in medicine, he is the author of Abled: Follow Your Dreams, and the Naysayers Be Damned. Nothing Great Was Ever Achieved by Allowing Others to Define Your Limits, an inspirational book that reflects on perseverance and overcoming limitations through his own life experiences.

Dr. Jonathan Luchs, MD, FACR
Dr. Jonathan Luchs, MD, FACR is a fellowship-trained Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiologist with more than 25 years of experience specializing in advanced musculoskeletal imaging and diagnostic interpretation.
He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, graduating in the top 10% of his class. He also received a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Anthropology with Honors from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
He completed his prestigious Musculoskeletal Radiology fellowship at the world-renowned Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, one of the leading institutions globally for orthopedic and musculoskeletal medicine.
